Well Im Finally A Volunteer It Took Forever To Get To Be One But I Have To Say It Feels Good To Help Ourworld The Game Im Addicted To. HaHa If U Guys Have Any Questions Ask Me Or Comment Me On Here Lemme Know If Im Doing Good Or Bad Plzz. Imma Playtester Now  So I Cant Wait To Test Things And Make New Friends There If Anyone Is A Playtester And Wants To Add Me There Lemme Know 

How do I become a Volunteer Helper?

Qualified ourWorld players may apply to become Volunteer Helpers by clicking the Live Help link under the Account tab.

If you are qualified, you will see the “Become a Helper” button.  Press it and we will quickly review your application and add you to the helper list.  To become a Volunteer Helper you must:

• Be level 40 or higher
• Be age 13 or above*
• Have no history of ourWorld conduct violations.

* What we ask of Volunteer Helpers is more than we can legally request of our younger players.

The three primary tasks of the Helpers are:

• Live Help – Help ourWorld players in need by answering Live Help requests
• Playtest – Volunteers may gain access to the Playtest server. A select few receive boosts for testing new features.
• Moderators – A small number of our most capable volunteers will be granted additional moderator powers in the ourWorld Forum and in the game.

Volunteers do not receive any special compensation, but we believe the program is rewarding on its own.  Volunteers do gain access to the exclusive Volunteer Forum section of the ourWorld Forum.

To Be A Playtester First U Need To Be A Volunteer Then After U Do That. Then Read Below Or Check Out The Forums For More Info.

All ourWorld volunteers are welcome to view the Test Server and are encouraged to try new (and existing)features.Your Live Server accounts WILL NOT WORK. You will need to create NEW PLAYTEST ACCOUNTS. Nothing from Playtest can be moved from Live or vice-versa.

To create a new Playtest account on the server, we must first verify that you are an ourWorld Volunteer and add your IP address to the list of allowed addresses.

From your normal ourWorld Volunteer account, select Account->Help and send a Help ticket with your IP address to support and they will get you added to the list as soon as possible. ALL REQUESTS REGARDING PLAYTEST FROM NON-VOLUNTEER ACCOUNTS WILL BE IGNORED!

All the normal rules of ourWorld apply on Playtest, but are enforced much more rigidly. The first conduct violation on Playtest normally results on permanent account deactivation, banning from the server, and loss of volunteer status (on the Live server), all with no warning.

Test Crew – Volunteers specifically selected to help with playtesting are members of Test Crew, a Crew on the Playtest server. Players who regularly find and post bug reports to the Volunteer Bug Smashing folder are invited to join Test Crew. Test Crew members get:

Resident membership on the Playtest Server

Gem Awards (every 2-4 weeks)

Notifications of new features (through the Private Crew Notification Page.)

We assume all volunteers want to be Test Crew members, so there’s no need to tell us you want to join. We will contact you via PM if we’d like you to join the crew. A high volume and high quality of Bug Reports is how you get noticed. POST THOSE BUGS!

Note: We know the Playtest URL is out there on various Blogs. While we would prefer that not happen, we are not tracking players down and penalizing them for this sort of thing. If too many people start using the Playtest server, we will take action based on neccissity. We just hope to put that off as long as possible.
